About ICSERA
It is my great honor and pleasure, on behalf of the Society of Air-Conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers of Korea (SAREK), to welcome you to the 9th International Conference on Saving Energy in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (ICSERA 2026), which will be held at KINTEX(Goyang city, Kyounggi-do), Korea.
Since the first ICSERA conference held in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2009, followed by the second conference in Bali in 2011 and the continued expansion of international collaboration in the refrigeration and air-conditioning community, ICSERA has served as an important platform for researchers, industries, and policymakers to exchange innovative ideas and technologies for sustainable energy systems.
Today, the world is facing unprecedented challenges related to climate change, carbon neutrality, sustainable cooling, and the rapid growth of AI-driven industries. In particular, the expansion of low-carbon HVAC&R technologies, AI-based digital cold-chain systems, and sustainable thermal energy solutions has become increasingly important for the future of our society and industry.
In response to these global challenges, ICSERA 2026 aims to provide an international forum for sharing advanced technologies, practical experiences, and visionary strategies in refrigeration, air-conditioning, heat pump systems, cold-chain technologies, and energy-efficient thermal systems. The conference will also strengthen international cooperation and expand the Asian HVAC network, particularly by enhancing collaboration among emerging partners across Southeast Asia and beyond.
ICSERA 2026 will feature high-quality plenary lectures, technical sessions, and industrial discussions covering next-generation cooling technologies, AI and digital transformation in HVAC systems, sustainable refrigeration, and environmentally responsible energy solutions. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to explore the latest industrial innovations through the HARFKO exhibition tour on October 23.

- October 23, 2026: HARFKO Exhibition Tour
We sincerely hope that ICSERA 2026 will become a meaningful place for creating new collaborations, expanding global partnerships, and shaping the future of sustainable refrigeration and air-conditioning technologies together.
